Submission Guidelines:

To ensure a seamless and efficient review process, we kindly request that you adhere to the following submission guidelines:

1. No Plagiarism or AI-generated content: We accept only original work that has not been published elsewhere. Plagiarism or any form of intellectual property infringement will result in disqualification. Attach a plagiarism report from with your submissions.

2. Relevant Topics: We welcome submissions covering a wide range of legal topics, including but not limited to human rights, criminal law, constitutional law, international law, environmental law, social justice, and legal theory. Your work should align with JAF’s mission and contribute to the understanding and advancement of legal knowledge.

3. Formatting: Use Heading 1 for the Title of the Assignment, and H2, H3… for the subsequent headings (Watch this). Ensure that your work is well-structured, coherent, and free from grammatical errors. You must run your assignment through Grammarly before submission. 

4. Word Count: Articles and papers should typically range from 2,500 to 3,000 words.

5. File Format: .docx, .doc (MS Word file)

6. Case Citations: Whenever you cite a case law/precedent, include the citation to that particular case in square brackets.

7. Ethical Considerations: We encourage you to approach your work with integrity, respecting confidentiality, privacy, and professional ethics. Avoid any content that may be considered defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful.

1. Copyright Ownership: Upon publication, JAF shall become the copyright owner of the submitted blog post/paper. JAF reserves the right to reproduce, distribute, and display the work on its portal and other platforms associated with JAF. However, the author retains the right to have their name displayed with the published work, acknowledging their authorship.

2. Publication Timeline: JAF will make every effort to publish the submitted blog post/paper within 15 days from the date of submission. If, for any reason, the blog post/paper does not get published within this timeframe, JAF relinquishes the right to claim copyright ownership of the work.

3. Authorship Confirmation: By submitting your blog post/paper, you confirm that you are the original author of the work and that you have not infringed upon the intellectual property rights of any other individual or entity. You take full responsibility for the content of the submitted work and any legal consequences arising from any copyright infringement or other intellectual property violations.

4. Adherence to Guidelines: You affirm that you have read and adhered to the guidelines provided by JAF for blog post/paper submission. These guidelines may include requirements regarding formatting, citations, word limits, and ethical considerations.

5. Editing and Modification: JAF reserves the right to edit and modify the submitted blog post/paper for purposes of clarity, grammar, style, and adherence to JAF's editorial standards. However, substantial changes that significantly alter the meaning or essence of the work will not be made without the author's consent.

6. Publication Decision: The decision to publish or reject a submitted blog post/paper rests solely with JAF's editorial team. JAF may reject submissions that do not meet its editorial standards, violate ethical guidelines, or are deemed inappropriate for publication for any other reason.

7. Confidentiality: JAF will treat all submitted blog posts/papers with utmost confidentiality. However, JAF cannot guarantee the security of the submission process and shall not be held liable for any unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of the submitted work.

8. Withdrawal of Submission: If, after submission, you wish to withdraw your blog post/paper from consideration for publication, you must notify JAF in writing as soon as possible.

By submitting your article/paper to JAF, you indicate your understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined in this disclosure. You also acknowledge that JAF may update or modify these terms at its discretion.
